In this event, Kit de Waal, author of My Name Is Leon (2016), The Trick to time, Becoming Dinah and others will be reading from Without Warning & Only Sometimes and from the introduction to the Common People anthology.
Kit de Waal is a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and professor and Writer in Residence at Leicester University. She founded her own TV production company (Portopia Productions) and a free digital literary festival, Big Boy Weekend.
The event is a cooperation between the Centre for British Studies, Bard College Berlin, Literary Field Kaleidoscope and Consortium for Forced Migration, Displacement and Education.
